The best camera is the one you have on you – so have a better one on you

With year and years of making short films, usually with tiny crews, one person directing, lighting and operating the camera… getting focus correct was a problem. One day, I noticed that YouTube videos from one-person creators have great focus. So I raced down a knowledge spiral, to find that auto-focus has gotten amazing.

I bought an entry level camera to make sure I wasn’t missing something, found that I wasn’t and have upgraded. Now I just want to take photos that capture the feel of the moment, the place and the adventure I was on to get there. Even when that’s just something seen walking the dogs.
